UPDATE: Over 400 customers affected by Central Electric Cooperative power outage
Four hundred and fifty members of the Central Electric Cooperative were without power for two and a half hours Tuesday morning.
A co-op representative said the outage was caused at 9:30 a.m. by a tree falling across Tower Road near the Saxonburg sewage treatment plant.
Members in Penn, Clinton and Jefferson township had their electricity restored by noon.
