Governor adds Erie County to “Stay at Home” order
Gov. Tom Wolf and Rachel Levine, the state secretary of health, revised Monday’s “Stay at Home” order to include Erie County. The new order now includes eight counties: Allegheny, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Erie, Monroe, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties, and took effect Tuesday night.
The order is expected to be in place through April 6.
At this time, law enforcement will be focused on ensuring residents are aware of the order and informing the public of social distancing practices rather than enforcement.
