[naviga:h3]Cutoff nears for two journalism awards[/naviga:h3]
The deadline is approaching for two scholarships for aspiring journalists.
The deadline for the $5,000 Bob Fryer Memorial Scholarship and the $2,500 Press Club Scholarship is Monday.
The awards are designed to encourage outstanding undergraduate journalism students in print, broadcasting and multimedia.
The scholarship will be awarded May 27 in Pittsburgh at the Golden Quill Awards Dinner.

[naviga:h3]Robin’s Home gets grant money[/naviga:h3]
Robin’s Home received a grant of $5,600 from the Endowment of Butler County of the Pittsburgh Foundation.
The nonprofit plans to use the grant to build a meeting room that would allow its residents to meet privately with case managers and counselors.
Robin’s Home opened in July of 2019 at 401 E. Pearl St. in Butler with the purpose of providing services to homeless, unstably housed and low-income female veterans and their children in Butler County.
[naviga:h3]Clearview donates time and money[/naviga:h3]
Clearview Credit Union employees and members donated more than $100,000 and employees volunteered 7,630 hours to a variety of local charities in the Greater Pittsburgh region in 2019.
Clearview’s charitable efforts for this year were capped in December which saw more than 1,000 warm- clothing items donated to 10 local organizations.
