GROVE CITY — Ritenour Express Care and Car Wash's general manager has been given an award by Valvoline Express Care.

Ken Frenchak, who runs the automotive service center, was awarded the “Express Character” award, which was presented at the Valvoline Express Care 2019 National Workshop in Phoenix. The award is given to a general manager at one of Valvoline's more than 300 locations. It identifies an individual who is passionate about their business, driven, independent in spirit, understands strength and opportunities, and values partnerships between their location and Valvoline.

Ritenour Express Care and Car Wash, 149 N. Broad St. in Grove City, has been family owned and locally operated since 2006.

Allegheny Health Network (AHN) has named James Kanuch as its chief financial officer for the new Wexford Hospital in Pine Township. Construction is under way at the hospital, which is expected to open in 2021.Kanuch, who has worked in the health system for 27 years, currently serves as CFO of AHN’s West Penn Hospital. He will develop, plan and implement a finance strategy for the Pine Township hospital. At West Penn, Kanuch improved the financial operating margin of the hospital during the past six years by developing strategies to provide specialized care to more patients, including cardiology, orthopedics, oncology, neurosurgery, and women and infant services.Wexford Hospital will offer comprehensive women and infant care, including labor and delivery services; advanced cardiac, neurosurgical, orthopedic and cancer care; a 24-room emergency department and short-stay observation unit; an adult intensive care unit; operating rooms that provide minimally-invasive robotic surgical capabilities; 160 all-private inpatient rooms; and a variety of other patient- and family-friendly clinical programs, amenities and services.
