The Butler Transit Authority board of directors Tuesday elected a slate of officers for this year.

Board members elected Lance Calvert as chairman, Joe Hasychak as vice chairman and James Diamond as secretary/treasurer.

Calvert replaces Diamond as chairman, Hasychak replaces Calvert as vice chairman and Diamond replaces Hasychak as secretary/treasurer.

The board has a vacancy created when Maggie Stock’s term expired at the end of the year.

The Butler County commissioners haven’t appointed anyone to fill the vacancy. Authority Executive Director John Paul said he did not know when an appointment will be made.
