Grove City chamber hosts dinner, speaker
The Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce's annual dinner is set Wednesday.
Speaking will be Tim Bonner, past chairman of Grove City Medical Center's board of directors.
Bonner's topic will be the past, present and future of the medical center.
Bonner will be the eighth speaker in the Hometown series, which features speakers with direct ties to the Grove City area.
Those attending also will hear from representatives of the chamber board and staff regarding accomplishments in 2019 and an outlook for the chamber for 2020.
Graduates of the Leadership Grove City 2019 Program will be recognized.
The evening will conclude with the annual presentation of the Community Service Award, which is given each year to an individual who volunteers and serves their community selflessly. The recipient is not disclosed until the presentation.
A social time will start at 6 p.m. with dinner and program following at 6:30 p.m. at the Grove City Country Club.
Tickets are $60 per person or $465 for a table of eight.
