The students — which included two adults and four juveniles — are alleged to have attacked a 16-year-old boy, who suffered minor injuries and was taken to Armstrong Center for Medicine & Health, police said.
The victim is from California, while five of his alleged assailants — including two 16-year-olds, two 17-year-olds and a 19-year-old — are all from Philadelphia. The hometown for one other defendant, an 18-year-old, was not listed.
The two adult defendants were taken to Butler County Jail, while the other four youths will be processed through juvenile probation.
Summit Academy is a private, residential school for at-risk young men, ages 14 to 19, in high school.
