BRADYS BEND TWP, Armstrong County — Police said they are searching for the driver of an SUV who crashed a vehicle on Route 68 and fled the scene Friday night.

The operator of the vehicle was driving west along Route 68 near Seybertown Road around 8:51 p.m.

He failed to negotiate a right curve, went onto the southern shoulder of the road and struck a tree, Armstrong County police said.

The driver of the vehicle, which was not overturned, fled the scene and has not been apprehended, police said.
