Corvette hits 3 parked vehicles

JEFFERSON TWP — A New Jersey man recently spun his 2019 Chevrolet Corvette off North Pike Road and into three parked vehicles.

Alexander J. Hryckowian, 29, of Mickleton told police his vehicle lost traction with the roadway while heading south on North Pike Road around 7:17 p.m. Dec. 14. His vehicle starting spinning out and traveled into the parking lot of The Field House restaurant, police said.

After checking Hryckowian's tires and seeing that all four appeared to have sufficient tread, police charged Hryckowian with speeding and leaving his lane of traffic.

Hryckowian's Corvette brushed a Subaru Legacy, giving it minor damage on the grill, then struck a Dodge Ram 2500 on its side, pushing it into a Dodge Ram 1500, according to police reports. The first Ram had disabling damage to its side, while the second sustained some minor damage.

No one was inside any of the parked cars, which were parked in a lot beside the restaurant, according to police.

Hryckowian had one passenger in his vehicle, a 33-year-old woman from Ridgeley, W.Va. Neither Hryckowian nor his passenger was injured, police said.
