Child and injured mother taken to hospital after 1-car crash
PARKER TWP — A mother and child were taken to the hospital Tuesday night after a one-vehicle accident on West Eldarado Road.
Bruin firefighters said the mother, who was driving the SUV, suffered minor injuries including lacerations, but the child was not hurt in the crash.
The mother, accompanied by the child, was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital.
The woman crashed at 7:02 p.m. on West Eldarado Road near its intersection with Annisville Road.
A resident at a nearby house helped move the vehicle off the road while authorities responded to the scene.
“The resident got her off the road because she was going to get hit again,” said David Blair, Bruin Volunteer Fire Department assistant chief.
