Victor R. Brown
Victor R. Brown, 90, formerly of West Sunbury, passed away Sunday, Nov. 24, 2019, at Orchard Manor of complications from Parkinson's disease.
He was born Aug. 17, 1929, in Butler, and was the son of the late Alfred Clarence and Ester (Campbell) Brown.
Vic was a member of Moraine Sportsman Club and the Harrisville Trap Club.
Vic was a member of the Christian Alliance Church of Butler.
He retired from Bessemer Lake Erie Railroad from the Butler yard car department.
Surviving are his sons, V. Russell (Beverly) Brown of Renfrew, Kenneth (Deborah) Brown and Alfred Brown, all of West Sunbury; his daughter, Sandra (William) Funfer of Boyers; three grandsons; and four great-grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret (Slomers) Brown, whom he married at the Springdale Lutheran Church on Oct. 1, 1947, and who passed away on May 26, 2017; his grandson, Eric Sean Brown; two brothers, Alfred and Dean; and his sisters, Irene and Margaret.
BROWN — Friends of Victor R. Brown, who died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2019, will be received from noon until the time of the service at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Young Funeral Home, 127 W.
