Son arrested on birthday after threatening his father with a gun
CENTER TWP — A man's 27th birthday ended with him behind bars.
Jeffrey Ford Jr. celebrated his birthday Sunday. He was arrested and charged with allegedly threatening his father with a gun following a domestic dispute over a cat.
According to the affidavit, the father and son were grabbing, shoving and pulling a Ford Jr.'s cat, tug-of-war style.
“I grabbed at the cat. He wouldn't give the cat up,” Ford Sr. told state police.
