Crash restricts traffic on N. Boundary
CRANBERRY TWP — A two-vehicle accident closed one lane of North Boundary Road just east of the roundabout for more than a half-hour Friday evening.
At about 5:20 p.m., Cranberry firefighters say, a red Jeep Patriot traveling west on North Boundary Road collided with the passenger side of a white Toyota Tundra, which was pulling into the driver's driveway. The Patriot sustained visible front-end damage and had to be towed from the scene of the accident, while the truck remained in the driveway.
Firefighters said the occupants of the vehicles suffered minor injuries, but declined to be treated by medics or transported to hospital.
With the westbound road occupied by Cranberry police and fire vehicles, fire police alternated the flow of traffic for more than a half-hour. The scene was cleared when the Patriot was towed at about 6 p.m.
