Winter hike on trail coming Dec. 31
The public is invited to join the annual Last Day Hike at 4 p.m. Dec. 31 on the Butler-Freeport Community Trail.
Walkers are to meet at the Cabot trailhead parking lot on the corner of Center and Helmbold avenues.
Trail officials will lead a leisurely walk from that trailhead to Sarver.
Hot chocolate and s’mores will be served afterward.
The hike is free of charge.
