Malkin scores 400th
Pens win 4-1 in Calgary
CALGARY, Alberta — John Marino and Bryan Rust scored second-period goals Tuesday night to lead the Pittsburgh Penguins to a 4-1 road victory at Calgary.
Evgeni Malkin and Kris Letang added empty-net goals late for Pittsburgh. Malkin’s tally was the 400th of his career. He became the seventh Russian player to score 400 goals in NHL history.
Johnny Gaudreau scored the Flames’ lone goal, giving Calgary a 1-0 lead at the time.
Tristan Jarry was the winning goaltender for the Penguins, who continue their three-game road trip Friday night at Edmonton.
