Parking at metered spaces on streets in Butler will be free for the rest of the year.

Parking manager James Chiprean recently invited people to enjoy the holiday season in downtown and take advantage of the free parking through Dec. 31.

There is also two hours of free parking on Main Street.

“Come downtown, get in the holiday spirit and enjoy the free parking, so you can support your local shops and restaurants,” Chiprean said.

Parking enforcement will continue as normal at garages and parking lots.
