GROVE CITY — Twenty Grove City College physics students attended a national physics conference as the result of the Swezey Fund and generous donors.

Joined by physics professor DJ Wagner, the 20 students attended Phys-Con 2019 last month in Providence, R.I., hosted by the Congress of Physics honor society, Sigma Pi Sigma.

“PhysCon for me served as a great time for me to remind myself why I love physics, meet other physics students from across the country and engage in very interesting conversations with them, and a fascinating look at the kinds of research other college students are doing at their respective universities,” said Kaleb Slaatthaug, class of 2021.
