CRANBERRY TWP — If you’ve got a tow truck, spare time and a place to store abandoned or disabled vehicles, Cranberry might be your next base for operations.

The township put out a request for proposals from licensed salvors to retrieve vehicles at the direction of township police and store them until they are claimed by their owners. Rates for aiding disabled but drivable vehicles start at $85, while tows will pay a minimum of $150.

Information for applicants is available on the township police website. Proposals must be submitted by 3 p.m. Dec. 13.
