Public invited to open sessions for SRU post
Slippery Rock University welcomes public input on five candidates under consideration for the college’s next provost and vice president of academic affairs.
As part of their visits, each candidate will deliver a public presentation and answer questions during an open session. Students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members are invited to the open sessions.
Information about the individual candidates will be posted online at sru.edu/provostsearch two days before the candidate’s interview and remain online for one week.
A response form for open session attendees to provide feedback to the search committee will be available online Thursday through Dec. 2. All interviews will be held from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Smith Student Center on the following days:
- Thursday — Candidate A, Room 321
- Monday — Candidate B, Room 321
- Nov. 18 — Candidate C, Room 321
- Nov. 21 — Candidate D, Room 321
- Nov. 25 — Candidate E, Room 320.
In addition to the open sessions, candidates will meet with SRU President William Behre and other university officials and have lunch with SRU students.
