Subway on Pittsburgh Street in Saxonburg

SAXONBURG — Subway on Pittsburgh Street will be closed through the rest of Tuesday after a small fire in the women's bathroom.

Station 15 Captain Mike Krchelich of Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Co. said the fire was electrical in nature, but took only minutes to put out.

“We had to shut off the main breaker panel, and the fire went out,” Krchelich said.

Everyone safely evacuated from the building, and no one was hurt.
