Downed wires trap driver after crash
According to state police, the driver of a white, two-door pickup was traveling west on Ekastown Road on Monday when he lost control of his vehicle and hit a utility pole. It took emergency workers more than an hour to reach the driver as utility workers had to shut down power before removing wires from the vehicle. The driver walked out of the truck on his own power. According to the police, the driver was wearing only the lap strap of this seat belt and hit his head on the windshield. Rescue personnel from Butler Ambulance Service transported the driver to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
