SLIPPERY ROCK — The North Country Brewing Cannery, 111 Arrowhead Drive, will host a fundraiser from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday for 2-year-old Aldon Blom.

There will be a 50/50 raffle, auction, food, a bake sale and live music.

All proceeds will go to pay the medical expenses and travel bills of Aldon, who suffers from a tumor on his brainstem. He is the son of Taylor and Josh Blom of Harrisville.

GROVE CITY — Grove City Medical Center will conduct a community blood drive from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Nov. 19 in the hospital’s education center.Donors must be at least 17 years old and weigh a minimum of 110 pounds. Most medications are acceptable, and blood donations can be made every 56 days.Pre-registration is preferred.
