Fall leaf disposal opens for residents of the city of Butler on Saturday.

A designated leaf disposal area at Memorial Park will be denoted by signs, according to a city news release.

Once leaf disposal begins, the area will be open from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends and holidays. It will remain open through the first week of December.

Leaves deposited at the site must be removed from plastic bags. Other trash or brush isn’t accepted.
