Children hurt in 2-car accident
Children were injured in a two-car crash Monday on Oneida Valley Road near the intersection at Hooker Road.
CONCORD TWP — Two children were flown to a Pittsburgh hospital for injuries suffered during a two-car crash Monday on Oneida Valley Road near the intersection at Hooker Road, state police said.
A passenger car being driven by the children's relative crashed Monday morning into another car that was stopped for traffic.
The car with the minors had to be towed, but the other vehicle was able to be driven away.
According to state police, the children were taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital where they were transferred by helicopter to UPMC Children's Hospital. The severity of the injuries is unknown.
North Washington Volunteer Fire Department also responded.
