BUTLER TWP — The ramps that connect North Main Street Extension to Route 422 will close for repairs this weekend.

The state Department of Transportation announced Wednesday that weather permitting, the entire cloverleaf and all ramps surrounding it will close beginning at 8 p.m. Friday and reopen at midnight Monday.

Motorists traveling on Route 8 and Route 422 who are not using those exits should not be affected, according to a PennDOT news release.

Lindy Paving will mill, repair and pave the ramps during the closures.

The work is part of PennDOT’s Butler bypass project.
