Sen. Pittman coming to Saxonburg
SAXONBURG — State Sen. Joe Pittman, R-41st, will hold a public meeting at 6 p.m. Sept. 18 at Cooper Hall in the Saxonburg Museum.
A news release from Pittman's office said the senator's visit will “continue efforts to stay abreast of the interests and concerns of the citizens of the 41st District.”
Pittman said he believes that effective legislators must get out and meet with people and hear their concerns and ideas.
“A town meeting brings that interaction down to the local level,” Pittman said.
The Saxonburg Museum is at 199 N. Rebecca St.
The 41st district includes 15 townships and eight boroughs in the eastern part of Butler County, plus all of Armstrong and parts of Westmoreland and Indiana counties.
