BUTLER TWP — One person was injured in a two-car crash Thursday morning on New Castle Road in front of the Burger Hut, authorities said.

The accident occurred around 8 a.m. and involved a Hyundai Sonata and a Subaru Legacy. Butler Township volunteer and city firefighters responded to the scene.

Butler Township police are investigating, but did not immediately release an accident report. Officers declined to comment at the scene.

An occupant in one of the cars was taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries.
