One person was injured in a two-car crash this morning on New Castle Road in front of the Burger Hut in Butler Township, authorities said.

BUTLER TWP — One person was injured in a two-car crash Thursday morning on New Castle Road in front of the Burger Hut in Butler Township, authorities said.

The wreck happened about 8 a.m. and involved a Hyundai Sonata and a Subaru Legacy. Butler Township volunteer and city firefighters were called.

Butler Township police are investigating but they did not immediately release an accident report. Officers declined to comment at the scene.

An occupant in one of the cars was taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries.
