Former SRU back Hills scores in NFL
Wes Hills, Slippery Rock University’s standout running back last season, scored a touchdown in the Arizona Cardinals’ 17-13 NFL preseason win over the Los Angeles Chargers Thursday night.
Hills scored on a 7-yard run. He had eight carries for 37 yards on the night.
Hills signed with the Cardinals as a non-drafted free agent in the spring.
