A Butler man crashed his motorcycle on Route 38 in Washington Township Saturday and injured himself.

Steve J. Ferris, 55, was traveling south on Route 38 near Annisville Road around 1:36 p.m., state police report. Ferris “lost control of his motorcycle and fell onto the road,” according to police.

Police report that Ferris suffered a possible serious injury. He was transported from the scene by the Eau Claire Volunteer Fire Company to Butler Memorial Hospital.

The motorcycle is a Honda Nighthawk 750.

Ferris said Monday that the wreck had broken his leg.
