Man pleads not guilty to driving drunk and crashing into group
Joshua Klein
A New Castle man pleaded not guilty Wednesday to charges that he was drunk and high on cocaine when he allegedly drove into a group of people at a Slippery Rock Township apartment complex in May.
Joshua Klein, 23, pleaded his innocence in Slippery Rock during a preliminary hearing held before District Judge William S. O’Donnell.
Klein was arrested and arraigned on 15 charges, including four felonies. He was placed in the Butler County Prison in May on $15,000 bail, but later that month, according to court records, he was taken to Lawrence County’s jail for allegedly breaking his probation in a previous, unrelated case.
