BUTLER TWP — A half-mile stretch of Bull Creek Road will be closed for much of Friday.

Road crews will close the road between Wise Road and Wendell Lane from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. to replace a stormwater pipe, according to the township's director of public works, Dave Meeder. They're upgrading a failing, old corrugated metal pipe to a new plastic type.

Meeder said the road is used by XTO Energy trucks and the company has been properly notified.

Residents in the area will have to adjust their routes accordingly, Meeder said.
