Howard C. Nuss
Howard C. Nuss, 85, of Butler passed away Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born Aug. 14, 1933, in Berwick, Pa., and was the son of the late Howard L. Nuss and Claire Morris Nuss.
Howard graduated from Penn State in 1958 and immediately accepted a job as an accountant with PPG Industries. He was chief accountant at their plant in Shelby, N.C., and later was a financial analyst at their corporate office in Pittsburgh. He was with PPG for 39 years.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
Howard is survived by his wife of 62 years, Edith; his sons, Howard (Josephine) Nuss of Gibbstown, N.J., Craig (Sylvia) Nuss of Grove City, Eric Nuss of Valencia and Matthew (Deanna) Nuss of Valencia; his daughters, Leslie (Paul) Dion of Bellevue and Laurie (Tim) Flatt of Butler; 17 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Howard was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be sadly missed by all.
