Mars High School Commencement - June 6
The Mars High School commencement ceremony will be at 6:30 p.m. June 6 at the high school’s auditorium, 529 Route 228.
Student speakers will be Jack Ramsey and Megan Hooper.
Jack is the son of Edward and Krissy Ramsey. He is the president of the National Honor Society, captain of the Hometown High Q team and an active member of the National Spanish Honor Society, STEM, Key and Chess clubs. He recently won the local Rotary Student of the Month Award and multiple community scholarships based on academic achievement.
He plans to attend Penn State University majoring in industrial engineering.
Megan is the daughter of Patrick and Paula Hooper. She is treasurer of the National Honor Society and an active member of the Future Medical Providers Club, National Spanish Honor Society, Key Club and Book Club. She was a four-year letterman on the varsity swimming/diving team and was a member of the varsity track and field team for one year.
She plans to attend the University of Richmond and major in biochemistry and molecular biology with a concentration in neuroscience.
Class officers: are: Andrew Pierre, president; Emma Martin, vice president; Rebekka Ranalli, secretary; and Noah Cipkins, treasurer.
