Jean Elizabeth Rader
Jean Elizabeth Rader, 81, of Butler passed away Wednesday at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford.
Born Feb. 15, 1938, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Sarah Ambuster McBride.
She was a faithful Christian who was a member of the Muddy Creek Presbyterian Church and had enjoyed going to church during her nursing home care.
Jean enjoyed family dinners and her grandchildren. She will be remembered for attending their sporting and scout events.
She loved craft projects, cooking and reading.
She is survived by her children, Darla (Bruce) Colletti of Alexandria, Va., George W. (Tina) Rader of Butler, and Donald H. (Kelly) Rader of Unionville; five grandchildren, Lindsay Rader, Tyler Rader, Zach (Kendra) Rader, Josh Rader and Mia Rader; and her sister, Ruth Dumbaugh.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Rader, whom she married on April 25, 1958, and who passed away on Aug. 21, 2012; her siblings, John McBride, Jim McBride, George McBride, her infant brother, Jane McKinney, and Mary Bratkovich.
RADER — Visitation for Jean Elizabeth Rader, who died Wednesday, April 3, 2019, will be held from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday at Edward L.
