Doris Hartman

Doris Mae Hartman, 92, of Renfrew passed away on April 20 while under the care of the Good Samaritan Hospice Inpatient Unit in Cabot.

Born March 23, 1927, in Renfrew, she was the daughter of the late Leroy Critchlow and Lucy Hughes Critchlow.

Doris was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Butler.

She was a graduate of Evans City High School.

She retired from MSA as an assembler.

Doris enjoyed crocheting, genealogy and traveling with her husband, children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

Doris leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Joyce Smay and her husband, Gary, of Butler, James Hartman Jr. and his wife, Susan, of Draper, Utah, Janet Popa and her husband, Kevin, of Renfrew, and Gary Hartman and his wife, Carol, of Butler; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Hartman Sr., whom she married on March 20, 1947, and who passed away on Nov. 18, 2016; one grandson; three brothers; and three sisters.

HARTMAN — Friends of Doris Mae Hartman, who died Saturday, April 20, 2019, will be received from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 365 Sawmill Run Road, Butler.

Doris will be laid to rest at Brownsdale Cemetery in Butler.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Boylan Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Connoquenessing Township, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.
