Catherine D. Williams
Catherine D. Williams, 89, of Cranberry Township, passed away Friday at her home.
Born Aug. 9, 1929, in Oil City, she was the daughter of the late Carl H. DeWoody and Charlotte M. Lauffer DeWoody.
Catherine was a member of the Penn Township Women's Club and All Saints Anglican Church in Cranberry Township.
She was an avid sports fanatic. She loved college football, softball and basketball, especially at “March Madness” time. She also liked the Penguins and the Steelers. Above all, she loved watching her grandchildren play sports. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
Catherine leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Norman F. Williams Jr. and his wife, Tina, of Cranberry Township, and Jennifer Dancisin and her husband, Steve, of Cranberry Township; her grandchildren, Emily and Matthew Williams, and Zachary and Tyler Dancisin; her sisters, Creta Teut and her husband, Elden, of Ute, Iowa, and Carol Higgins of Storrs, Conn.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Frederick Williams, whom she married on April 20, 1957.
WILLIAMS — Friends of Catherine D.
