People ask me, how many years has it been?

As I stop to count the years,

Time continues to pass along.

I once thought I’d never be able to move forward,

But now I know...

It just takes one foot in front of the other.

Fourteen, that’s how many years have gone.

So different the time; with and without you.

Your journey turned from the path

I had hoped and wanted you to follow,

But it was the one God laid for you.

He knew that your time would be short;

He knew what a difference you would make;

He knew that you would change the lives

Of those you met.

And He knew that your goodness

Would be more than a memory;

You would be a blessing.

You no longer mark the passing of time;

You are in the Master’s home

And for time spent in Glory

There is no beginning or end.

I’ve let you go as much as I can

But still I find my eyes filled with tears.

You remain always in the hearts

Of all who shared your life.

Love Never dies
