Elizabeth “Butch” Salusky
Elizabeth “Butch” Salusky, 76, of Emlenton passed away within hours of her brother, Tom, on Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Butch was born on Aug. 31, 1942, in Homestead, Pa., and was a daughter of the late Michael John Salusky and Lula Jane Haggerty.
Butch was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.
She was a very respected and loved sales associate for over 40 years at Kmart of Butler, where she received multiple customer appreciation awards.
She was a bingo fanatic and enjoyed going to casinos and playing the Pennsylvania Lottery scratchers. She especially enjoyed baking Christmas cookies for her family.
Butch is survived by three brothers, Michael J. (Karen) Salusky of Emlenton, Robert J. (Cindy) Salusky of Harbor Creek, and Gary A. (Janet) Salusky of Butler.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Linda Salusky, who passed away on May 28, 1933; and her brother, Tom, who passed away on March 19, 2019.
SALUSKY — A visitation for Elizabeth “Butch” Salusky, who died Wednesday, March 20, 2019, will be held from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 801 Chestnut St., Emlenton.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon following the visitation with the Rev. Johnathan Schmolt officiating.Arrangements were entrusted to H.
