Allan J. Stegkamper

Allan J. Stegkamper, 88, of Evans City passed away Tuesday morning at his residence with his family by his side.

Born May 4, 1930, in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of the late Jules W. and Gertrude Ledel Stegkamper.

He was of the Protestant faith.

Allan was a master plumber and worked out of Plumbers Union 55.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict, obtaining the rank of staff sergeant.

He loved fishing and traveling the United States. Most of all, he enjoyed hosting pig roasts for family and friends, and passing his knowledge to his children of the preparations of how to roast a pig over an open pit.

Allan is survived by one daughter, Susan (Jeff) Wolski of Evans City; two sons, Mark Stegkamper of Texas and Allan Stegkamper of Florida; six grandchildren, Lucas (Danielle), Kyle (Jen), Jennifer (Jason), Michael (Jessica), Jacklyn, and Ben: also nine great- grandchildren, Sofia, Abel, Amaris, Lydia, Silas, Ashlyn, Brayden, Isaac and Josh.

STEGKAMPER — A celebration of the life of Allan J. Stegkamper, who died Tuesday, March 12, 2019, will be held at a later time.Arrangements are under the direction of A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 328 W.
