Glee A. Hart

Glee A. Hart, 47, of Prospect passed away on Saturday while under the care of Cancer Treatment Centers of America Eastern Regional Medical Center in Philadelphia.

Born Oct. 22, 1971, in Butler, she was the daughter of Robert J. Jesteadt Sr. and Janet Davis Jesteadt of Prospect.

Glee was a 1990 graduate of Slippery Rock High School, where she was a sports star and voted most athletic. She also competed on the track team in both discus and the shot put and loved playing basketball and softball.

Glee graduated from Penn State University Behrend in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in communications.

She enjoyed playing softball with the Sons of Italy team.

Glee will be remembered for her huge smile, giving big hugs and being the first friend of many. She wasn't the life of the party but she was the reason for it.

Above all, Glee loved her family, especially her daughter and son. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

In addition to her parents, Glee leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Michael J. Hart of Prospect, whom she married on Oct. 28, 2000; her children, Julia and Joey Hart, at home; her brother, Robert (Cindy) Jesteadt Jr. of Prospect; her nephews, Keaton Jesteadt and Adrian Organ and his wife, Ashley; her great-nephews, Hunter, Colton and Maverick Organ; and several other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Glee was preceded in death by her niece, Paige Organ.

HART — Friends of Glee A. Hart, who died Saturday, March 9, 2019, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Boylan Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Connoquenessing Township, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Christopher at the Lake Roman Catholic Church, 229 N. Franklin St., Prospect, with the Rev. Steven Neff officiating.Glee will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Cemetery in Prospect.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Butler Memorial Hospital Foundation/Support Services. Checks should be made to Butler Memorial Hospital Foundation with Support Services written in the memo line. This service provides wigs, hats, prosthesis, medications and financial support for cancer patients who are enduring hardship due to treatment.
