A Summit Township man found in possession of more than 300 images and nearly two dozen videos of child pornography is headed for trial.

James R. Schmidt, 30, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Monday at the office of District Judge William Fullerton in Butler, sending all 101 charges against him to Butler County Court.

He remains free on non-cash bail with the conditions that he be placed on pretrial supervision and have no unsupervised contact with children.
