MIDDLESEX TWP — No one was injured Wednesday night in a fire at a two-story house on Kilgallen Road, authorities said.

The homeowner, whose name was not immediately available, was at home when the fire broke out in back of the house with an attached garage, according to Middlesex Township police.

He was able to put out the small blaze with water and a fire extinguisher. Middlesex Township volunteer firefighters arrived and hosed down the house, which was full of smoke.

The house sustained minor damage. A cause was not immediately detected.
