Suboxone strips, empty drug stamp bags, a spoon with suspected heroin residue and a syringe were among the items Butler police said they found on Kasey R. Dischman upon her arrest last week after nearly two months on the run.

Dischman, 32, was arraigned Tuesday on her latest charges including misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia and false identification to law enforcement authorities.

She is being held in the Butler County Prison on two bench warrants that were issued after she allegedly cut off her electronic monitoring device Jan. 28 and fled her city apartment.

Butler police caught her shortly after 3:30 p.m. March 24 after they received an anonymous tip that she was walking toward the Pullman Square shopping plaza.

Dischman did not resist, police said, but she initially gave officers a bogus name — one of the aliases she has used in the past. She was subsequently arrested and searched.

The search, according to charging documents, turned up four Suboxone strips, five empty glassine bags commonly used to package heroin, and a metal spoon with what appeared to be heroin residue on it.

Additionally, police said they found her with an empty syringe and a metal drug smoking pipe.

Dischman captured statewide attention after prosecutors charged her with overdosing on heroin while pregnant on June 22, 2017. The top count was later dismissed, leaving Dischman to face misdemeanor charges of child endangerment, corruption of minors and possession of drug paraphernalia.

That case and a second unrelated one for possession of drug paraphernalia are pending in Butler County court.
