UPDATE: Missing Armstrong man found safe

Paul Walker, 70, was reportedly last seen about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at his farm on Walker Road in North Buffalo Township, authorities said.

UPDATE 5p.m.: Paul Walker has been found alive according to the South Buffalo Volunteer Fire Department Facebook page. This story will be updated with more information is available. The search resumed at 8 a.m. Wednesday for a missing Armstrong County man believed to have dementia.Paul Walker, 70, was reportedly last seen about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at his farm on Walker Road in North Buffalo Township, authorities said.Volunteer firefighters from at least seven departments as well as North Buffalo Township police, state police and the Salvation Army joined in an extensive search that got underway about 5:30 p.m.Search dogs from Armstrong and Westmoreland counties and a state police helicopter also were deployed.The initial search ended around 2 a.m. today, according to an Armstrong County dispatcher.Walker is described as being 5 feet, 8 inches tall and 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing a tan hooded jacket, blue jeans and Velcro shoes.Anyone with information about Walker's whereabouts is asked to call 911.
