CRANBERRY TWP — The township will host a household hazardous and electronic waste collection from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 6.

The collection will be conducted by ECS&R Recycling Co. in the township's Route 19 Public Works building. Advance registration is required by going online to www.ecsr.net, following the prompts and clicking the April 6 calendar date on the “schedule appointment” page.

Items not accepted include explosives, ammunition and radioactive materials; large appliances; pharmaceutical syringes and medical waste; fire extinguishers and smoke detectors; devices containing mercury; compressed gas canisters; and tires.

The company has set a schedule of fees. Rates vary with the types and weights of the items being disposed of. Call ECS&R for details at 866-815-0016.
