Ronald L. Bowser, 80, of Butler passed away Thursday in Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born Feb. 18, 1938, in Butler, and was a son of the late Nall and Dorothy (Yough) Bowser.

He was a 1957 Butler High School graduate and then worked for the Butler School District as a custodian, retiring after 40 years of service in 2010.

Ron enjoyed woodworking, remodeling, and building and assembling many things. He also enjoyed watching sports like basketball, baseball and his favorite, the New England Patriots. Most of all, Ron enjoyed spending time with his loving family.

Ronald is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judy A. (Beals) Bowser of Butler; a son, Terry L. Beals of Butler; a grandson, Brian M. (Rachel) Beals of Butler; a granddaughter, Crystal J. (Travis) Keene of Butler; four great-grandchildren, Addison, Finnigan, Lincoln and Emilia; and one sister, Darlene E. Lehner of Grove City.

BOWSER — Visitation for Ronald L. Bowser, who died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019, will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Leigh Benish officiating.Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park.To send an online condolence to the family, please visit www.thompson-miller.com.
