Rudy J. Montebello
Rudy J. Montebello, 90, of Sarver passed away on Thursday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.
Born Sept. 19, 1928, in Steubenville, Ohio, he was the son of Anthony and Rose Checca Montebello
Rudy served in the U.S. Army during the Occupation of Japan.
He worked as an engineer for North American Aviation.
Rudy was a former member of the Tarentum District Sportsmen's Club.
He enjoyed skeet shooting and woodworking.
Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Conway Gemperlein Montebello, whom he married Jan. 2, 1983; his stepchildren, Catherine (Ken) Glick of O'Hara Township, Joyce (Jon) Krim of Oakland, Calif., Mary (Greg) McQueen of Freeport, John Gemperlein of Wexford, Linda Gemperlein of Wexford, Paul (Lisa) Gemperlein of Tarentum, Margaret (Nicholas) Ashenden of Butler, Elizabeth (David) Shirm of Batavia, N.Y., Ruth Gemperlein of Boston, Mass., Thomas (Monica) Gemperlein of Apex, N.C., James (Katie) Gemperlein of Butler, Stephen (Jayme) Gemperlein of New Kensington and Ellen (Albert) McDonald of Bozeman, Mont., 23 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Robert Montebello.
