Larry L. Scott Sr.
Larry L. Scott Sr., 67, of Butler passed away Thursday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler having lost his battle with lung cancer.
Born Sept. 4, 1951, in Chicora, he was a son of the late Thomas L. Scott Sr. and Dolores A. Haley Scott.
Larry retired from the DuBrook Co. as a material driver, following 13 years of service.
He enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving are his wife, Cheryl McCommon Scott, whom he married June 5, 1992; his children, Larry L. (Andrea) Scott Jr., William Scott, Nicole (Tom) Pisor and Christina Scott; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Thomas J. Scott Sr., Edward (Michelle) Scott Sr. and Dave Scott; and a sister, Debra Scott.
Also surviving are his father-in-law, Leroy Eddinger; and his sisters-in-law, Marsha (Gene) Claypoole and Donna Hartle.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
