Mary E. Lawson, 87, formerly of Jefferson Township, passed away on Friday at Chicora Medical Center.

Born March 1, 1931, in Millerstown, she was the daughter of Floyd L. Ellenberger and Ruth E. Goldinger.

Mary was retired from Du-Co Ceramics, where she had been an inspector.

She was a member of Thorn Creek United Methodist Church.

She enjoyed bowling, bingo and square dancing.

Surviving are her nieces and nephews and her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas C. Lawson; her sister, Lois Barnhart; and two brothers, Harold Ellenberger and Dale Ellenberger.
